Course description

Humans have for thousands of years looked up at the stars and wondered if we are alone or if there other intelligent beings out there.  When we look at the number of planets that potentially have life, or even advanced life forms, the statistics look good that we are not alone.  However, radio telescope searches as well as studies looking for life in asteroids and even Mars have so far come up empty – we may truly be alone in the universe, but the search has just begun.
