Responsibilities

Trish provides leadership and advice to the Division of Continuing Studies in the area of Human Resources. Her responsibilities include everything from developing job descriptions and directing the hiring process, to facilitating job offers, onboarding and orientation.  Trish is also responsible for leading the Division’s Professional Development, Convocation and Event Planning.

Background

Trish has 30+ years experience working as an Executive Assistant and 5+ years as an HR professional.  Prior to joining Continuing Studies at UVic in 2008, Trish spent most of her career working for the Provincial Government in numerous Executive Assistant roles. Trish recently completed the Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management through Camosun College.  Her plan is to continue her education and complete a BA in Human Resources and Labour Relations.
