Part of:
Current Concepts in Gut Health
Course description
Have you ever wondered (or questioned) why a good diet may not be enough to ensure good health? About 30 trillion bacteria representing hundreds of species colonize the gut in stages from birth to senior years. The resulting species composition collectively called the gut microbiota varies from person to person and may reflect an individual's overall health. At the end of this course you will learn what is currently known about a healthy microbiota and how to maintain it.
