“Living in Victoria was the time of my life. The cultural exchange with people from different countries was the biggest learning experience, the language and grammar improvement came naturally with the activities and daily life experiences in Canada.
Teachers were great, and the things I learned were really useful to improve my communications with my friends, my host family and other Canadians.”
What’s it like living in Victoria?
The location of Victoria was awesome for my desire to know other cities in Canada and US, with weekend trips to Seattle, Vancouver, Salt Spring Island and a big trip to Portland, to watch a NBA playoffs game.
Best advice for new students
Interact with people from other countries, understand their culture and learn from your differences. Make friends and try to live the Canadian culture, that’s the main reason to study abroad. Better language and grammar comes naturally when you embrace this great experience with an open mindset.
