Effective English Communication for Graduate Students

Course description
Effective English Communication for Graduate Students is designed for students who speak English as a second or additional language. While particular attention will be given to the specific needs of the participants, the course is intended to focus on developing overall language proficiency, with the primary focus on effective oral communication and presentation skills for an academic setting.
The English Language Centre offers small classes (maximum 15) and a supportive learning environment. Our instructors are all experienced ESL specialists, who can help you to participate more fully and confidently in academic life at the University of Victoria.

You must be a current UVic graduate student.
Students will receive a refund of $100 if they attend at least 80% of the classes.
