It was the event we’d all been waiting for: the official “Grand Opening” of our expanded, modernized Continuing Studies Building!
Over 18 months of construction and a $12m investment have given us a bright, beautiful new facility with 7300m2 for our students and staff to enjoy. Our grand opening event featured cultural presentations, mini lectures, music, food and speeches by distinguished guests, including UVic President Jamie Cassels, QC.
It’s official: the UVic Division of Continuing Studies is making history and building community! Thanks to the 500+ friends, visitors and students who joined in our celebration.
