Welcome to the French Immersion workshop series 

Session #3: Les perspectives autochtones dans la salle de classe

 

Join us as we explore First People's Principles of learning in the French classroom. This is the first of a series of 4 workshops offered with Nicole George from UBC on this topic. Exploring our personal and professional identities/histories in relationship to Indigenous peoples, histories and worldviews. How have my knowledge and understanding of Indigenous peoples, their history and their current realities been constructed? How might this impact my teaching practice?’

We hope you can join us as we create community, collaborate, and share ideas and resources. Participants will leave with many resources and ideas. Hope to see you there!


Joignez-vous à nous alors que nous explorons les principes d'apprentissage des Premières Nations en classe de français. Il s'agit du premier d'une série de 4 ateliers offerts avec Nicole George de l'UBC sur ce sujet. Explorer nos identités / histoires personnelles et professionnelles en relation avec les peuples autochtones, leurs histoires et nos visions du monde.
