Course description

This class will introduce you to a painterly printing technique called monoprinting. Monotypes get their name because you make one individual print at a time, which offers a lot of opportunity for experimentation. You will learn how to incorporate mixed media such as inks, pencil crayon and collage layering in printed surfaces. Create painterly monotypes, collage papers and acrylic transfers suitable for mixed media paintings.
