This course will introduce you to the various close-up tools used in photography and how to effectively use these tools to achieve sharp, creative images. Through a series of demonstrations and shooting assignments, you will learn the advantages of various close-up tools. Demonstrations will include key items that will assist us in achieving accurate sharpness. We'll study close-ups using a variety of lighting techniques, including painting with light, and we'll study the fine art of composition with small scenes. Assignments will encourage you to understand your tools and to know what techniques are required for images with both technical excellence and visual impact.
